Good morning and happy Thursday! Can you believe it's already almost the end of the first full week of February 2012. It got here so fast. I'm not sure i was really ready but nevertheless, it's here. January went by so fast I don't even remember what all i did. Did you commit to any New Year's resolutions? I think every year I tell myself I'll be losing weight but it never really happens so this year my resolutions are to write more and to spend more time with my family.
Unfortunately we didn't have any snow so it didn't feel much like Christmas, quite unusual for this part of the state. We made up for it with the New Year snowfall. I bet we got 6 inches, more than enough to make it fun! I'm also pretty impressed my kids all made it to watch the ball drop on the the new year. However, they were asleep about ten minutes after 12.
Then on New Year's day my very active adventure-seeking son started off our family time with pulling me outside to sled in the snow. We didn't have a sled but we made due with a snow shovel believe it or not. He had a blast. I didn't sled myself but i was the sled pusher. My oldest daughter thought we were nuts.
January flew by much quicker than I would have liked with us getting a total of about a foot and a half of snow, yuck. Most of it is gone now as we've had some pretty decent "warm" days. It's already February now and Valentine's Day is right around the corner. Don't forget to show your love some Valentine Love !!!
If you're looking for a good Valentine's Day read, make sure you pick up Be Mine, Valentine. My story 'Love Takes the Cake' along with eleven other authors and their stories are sure to get you in the mood for Love !!!
PS: on a side note, I have done a little reconstructive surgery on my blog A Passion for Romance. Please stop by and say hello. Also make sure you visit myself and many other authors at the new TMP Coven, Fiction Witches where we will be sharing a different back list book every week. I also have a contest going on today and tomorrow and details can be found on my contest page, make sure to check it out!!!
