Hi everybody, welcome to My Sexy Saturday.  Today is a special day for me as it's my birthday :)  Not that I like getting any older but hey, it's just a fact of life.  My kids enjoy celebrating so away we go !!!

 Today I'm posting my sexy 7, coming from my WIP, Morgan's Mountain.  AND at the end i'm giving away a digital copy of my Decadent Publishing title, Take Me Home, Cowboy, a  digital copy of a Turquoise Morning Press short story anthology, Summer Shorts(my story is Surf's Up) and a goodie bag :)

 My 7 paragraphs (or thereabouts)...

Muffled thumps coming from the living room sidetracked his contemplation. He jumped out of bed and slid on his jeans and boots then pulled on a t-shirt as he elbowed the bedroom door open.

“Hey, where you goin’?”  Morgan was dressed for a blizzard in her winter coat with her saddle bags thrown over her shoulder.  He moved quickly toward the kitchen to intercept her.

“Time for me to head out.  The snow stopped last night.”  She started to walk around Luke.

“Whoa there, what do you mean head out?  You’re just gonna leave me here?” To say he was shocked was an understatement.  Damn it, she was running again.

“Yep.  You’re a big boy right?  Or do I need to escort you down the mountain so you don’t fall off your horse again?”


“Oh there’s the smartass I know and love so well.  You aren’t going anywhere Morgan.  Not until we talk.”

“We don’t have anything left to say Luke.”  She patted him on the chest and tried to move around him.  He was smarter than that.  He refused to let her walk out of his life again.

“Oh…oh yes we do and we, meaning me and you aren't   leavin’ here til we do.”  Then Luke proceeded to place his big cowboy-weathered hand around her dainty little wrist, spinning her around to face him again.  He hadn’t really thought about what he was doing and didn’t expect that she would lose her balance, falling right into his arms.


“Now this is exactly what I was thinking…”  And she slapped him.

    Oooooh, I forgot to tell you how I celebrate MY birthdays! Well, we go out to eat so I don't have to cook. And I'm Queen for a Week besides that! I started it by treating my hubby to King for a Week on his birthdate. When you give, you receive. :-) heh heh

    Happy Birthday! I hope it was a wonderful day! I love my birthday! It is MY Day and I expect to be treated to MY day :) LOL I want cake and ice cream and a dinner of my choice :)

    My favorite birthday is the year my Mom and my Husband threw a surprise party for me here at home. The biggest surprise my Husband ask me to Marry him. Down on one knee in one of those really sweet moments that every girl dreams about. I got my magical moment and still living those magic moments almost 6 years later :)

      Thanks a bunch Crystal, it was a great day. We didn't do anything all day but in the evening went to a movie in the park with the kids. Now today hubby is making me a surprise dinner so I'm excited about that :)

      Love the way he asked you to marry him. You know, my hubby did the same thing to me :)

Alpha Males...my favorite :)

Have you ever been asked what you like about Alpha Males?  Well I never had before but when I think about it, the Alpha Male is always the one that draws me in when I read a great book.    He's just got this unbelievable presence he exudes, one that makes you stop and take notice.   He makes me want to be the heroine just so I can have him :)  He doesn't give a sh** what others think of him and that makes him even more attractive.  He's always confident and sure about himself but even if he's got doubts, you'll never know about them.  He takes charge in every aspect of his life, dominates.  Of course the gorgeous and sexy part isn't a bad thing either.  So what exactly do you like about an Alpha male??    Well today i'd love for you to leave me a comment telling me what you like, what makes you pick the Alpha every time.  And, if you'd rather have the Beta, well tell me about that too!  Dont' forget to leave your email address in case you win!
